Integral Ductice Iron Rail and Locking Grate

TraffikDrain combines the benefits of a standard grated trench drain with a high capacity intake grate and large high volume pipe connection flume. This ensures maximum water intake through the grate and helps drain road surfaces drain as quickly as possible preventing ponding and the danger to road users that this creates. 60 one-meter long units provide 196’-10” continuous slope.

Compact size and shallow excavation minimizes disruption to vehicle or pedestrian traffic, and buried utilities, during installation.

Fixed grate option also available; grates that are permenantly fixed during
manufacture. Each grate is held by 2 sprung steel pins inserted horizontally through the ductile iron frame cast into the body and through the side wall of the grate.

channel body. Shock absorbing
widgets, with M10 stainless
steel threads, are fitted in rail
to provide fitting for grate bolts.
.Two M10 bolts per half meter (19.69”) grate - steel bolts do not react with stainless steel widget to ensure removal for maintenance. When combined with the two anti-shunt lugs, provides four points of capture per grate.

. Flume Outlets – offer large high capacity outlet for connection into a collector line or catch basin. Fits to the base of the Outlet Channel.

- included on all channel units to allow vertical evacuation of the system along the run.
Note: for 6” drill-out, an oval to round adapter will be required. (Part No 95140)

Polymer concrete is
manufactured from polyester
resins reinforced with

strength or cement concrete

absorption prevents
freezethaw breakdown.
