INSTALLATION
1. Locate and install all trench drains and sub floor plumbing prior to setting spill curbing in place.
2. Spill curbs must be cleaned before installing. Use a diamond blade grinder or similar grinding tool to remove (1/32” - 1/16”) excess material from the bottom surface and ends of the spill containment curbing. Make sure the bottom of the curbing and concrete floor is dry.
3. When curbs are set end to end, installation spacers help align curbs and leaves 3/16” gap for injection of adhesive*. Use a chemical resistant grout or two-part adhesive suitable for the application to set curbing in place and seal gaps. Use a minimum 1/8” thickness to seal bottom of curbing.
4. If necessary, use a carborundum or diamond circular saw to cut curbing to required size. Always wear appropriate protection to avoid breathing dust generated from sawing. Do not attempt to score and break curbing.
5. Finish installation by filling seams and smoothing as necessary. Fill any gaps or holes to ensure a secure and clean containment area.
6. Allow a minimum of 16 - 24 hours of curing before use.
